Notre costrel est inspiré d’un modèle du XVIIIe siècle. le corps du canon est constitué d'une seule pièce de cuir solide avec deux embouts. Nous ponçons chaque costrel à la main, tout comme les originaux. Comme les autres récipients à boire Samson Leather, le costrel est doublé d'une résine durable de qualité alimentaire, ce qui permet de transporter votre boisson en toute sécurité de la taverne ou d'un camp à l'autre.

It is exceptionally well made. Beautiful piece. I was disappointed it didn't come with some kind of stopper.

Good Costrel
I purchased this at the Ft. Frederick Market fair this year and have used it twice so far for water. I find that the volume is good for a day's work in the fields demonstrating training / fighting skills of a Highlander. It's far better than trying to hide plastic water bottles in a sack or under a hay bale. I just wish that it came with a stopper, as for now I lay a piece of deer skin over it to keep it closed.
